10 years ago today – we were doing this…
Guillaume was 7 1/2 in these pics when we brought him home with us from Haiti. He’s 17 1/2 now and he are so proud of him! He’s in grade 11, working, driving, playing basketball and it’s a true joy to have him as part of our family!

So I’ve been playing around on Twitter and starting to feel my way around! I said I would pick 1 name out of a hat from all of the people who are ‘following’ me on Twitter to win a $10 coupon to my store but I decided to give away 2 coupons to make it a little more fun!

I’ve been tagged by Jen – normally I don’t do these things but what the heck I’ll be a good sport and play along
Although it says to post 6 interesting things about yourself and I’m still stuck on #1… maybe I can spruce my list up with pics to make it look more exciting…
ok here goes…
#1. I’ve live in northern Ontario, Canada but I’ve also lived in South Africa (East London) and Providenciales, Turks and Caico’s Islands and love to travel.
#2. I decorate my house in colorful and different ways – I like that it’s different from the norm. Angie thinks I’ll never be able to resell it though – oh well.
#3. I hate things on my feet – I’m barefoot most of the winter and all summer. (I’ll spare you the photo of that one tho)
#4. Ron and I spent some time in Haiti doing mission work in 1999 and that’s where we met our son, Guillaume. We adopted him when he was 7 (he’s 17 now – ack!).
#5. We’ve been foster parents for the last 6 years. That comes with it’s ups and downs (making dinner for 9) but overall we’ve enjoyed it and are glad we’ve done it. We have some relationships with kids and families that we’ll cherish always.
#6. I’ve been trying to teach ACDSee and PSE5 to my parents for the last few months – and am almost out of eyelashes as a result. I guess they’re gettin it but crud! lol Here they are – and ya I still love them anyway.

I have a new product in my store – it’s a set of photo/frame masks (cutters). They are all ‘family’ themed and there’s a photo mask and a frame mask for each word!
Here’s what they do…
Angie Kovacs took some fantastic pics of my guys while we were visiting last month – here’s 2 of them (and my other guy is in the pic of the freebie set)

We just got back from a trip to meet/visit with my sista from another mista – ANGIE!! (and her family)!!
What a great trip – she’s pretty much exactly what I thought she’d be!! – We’ve been online scrapping friends for a few years and this is the first time we’ve met irl! – we shopped – talked – played rockband – ate out – alot – and just had fun! so glad we went! – the kids got along too!
I wish we had taken a better pic of the two of us – but this will have to do… (we were playing rockband).
And how’d I luck out with such a fantastic photographer for a friend?? – While we were visiting she did a shoot for me – and here’s a few of my favs – VERY hard to pick just a few – she rocks!! – check out her photog site here…
